Here's where you can hear some of my studio playing. I don't do raw clips, they're full band recordings. These cuts are from a record I made last year with a band called Ray and the Detonators. Ray had to move to Washington State so the band no longer exists but I'm very proud of the effort, my first as a principal producer.
All these recordings were made with a Digidesign Digi 001 on a G4 Macintosh. I used low-cost mic pres and microphones for the effort.
My Telecasters and my Strat are the only guitars you hear on these recordings. The great Teresa James sang the scat on "She Can Sing" and the equally great James Pennebaker played fiddle for us. The incomparable Kevin McKendree played piano for us on this song. His solo should come with a fire extinguisher! They were mixed and mastered in Nashville, TN.
